Vienna “Grand Prize Virtuoso” International Music Competition

Winners’ Concert and Awards Ceremony at the Gläserner Saal, Musikverein. It is the home of the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra and the venue for the annual Vienna New Year’s Concert.
Competition open to all nationalities and ages for strings, piano, wind, vocal and chamber music, each discipline is divided into different age categories: Young Musician (8 years old and younger), Junior (9 to 12 years old), Intermediate (13 to 15 years old), Advanced (16 to 18 years old) and Senior (no age limit).
SPECIAL PRIZES:
The aim of “Promo Concert & Special Prizes” is to find performers with a strong artistic personality and stage presence. The emphasis is therefore not on the purely technical aspect of the performance, but also on the artistic charisma of the performer.
