ASTA National Solo Competition

2016 will be a year of change but the same great product! The bowed string competition will consist of two rounds with one age division, 16-23 years old as of March 2, 2016 (born on or after March 2, 1992 and before March 2, 2000.) The national preliminary round will be completed via video audition submission. The deadline for submissions is 11:59pm PDT of November 12, 2015. The ASTA application fee is $150.00 (DecisionDesk will collect a processing fee.) Musicians must be students of ASTA members or a member themselves. First Place and Second Place winners will be chosen for each instrument in the online preliminary round by a distinguished panel of judges.
